The access data is collected on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR, and stored in pseudonymized form.
Matomo uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address anonymized prior to its storage) will be stored on our server in Germany. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

We store cookies on your hard drive. These have a validity period of several weeks and contain only a unique number which has no meaning outside of our website. We use this number exclusively for the purpose of making your settings and viewed products more easily accessible for your next visit, and for statistical evaluations of website visits in anonymized form.
We also place session cookies on your hard disk. Session cookies are only effective for the duration of your visit. These are necessary to identify you and grant you authorization for the entire duration of your visit after successfully logging in to protected areas. After your visit, these cookies will be automatically deleted from your hard drive.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA: hereinafter ‘Google’), to create a demand-oriented website configuration to continuously optimise our websites. Pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies are used in this context. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, including:

  • Browser type and version
    • Operating system used
    • Referrer URL (website previously visited)
    • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
    • Time of the server request

will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services associated with the use of the website and the Internet for the purposes of market research and the demand-oriented design of these websites. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymised so that no data can be allocated to an individual (IP masking).

You may refuse the use of cookies by adjusting the relevant settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

You can also download and install a browser add-on to prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google.

As an alternative to the browser add-on, particularly for browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent the collection by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. An opt-out cookie will be set, which prevents the future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid in this browser and for our website, and will be stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must set the opt-out cookie again.

For more information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics, please visit, for example, the Google Analytics Help page.

Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

We also use Google Conversion Tracking to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it to optimise our offer for you. In this process, Google Adwords sets a cookie (see section 4) on your computer if you have accessed our website via a Google ad.

These cookies become invalid after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits specific pages of the Adwords customer website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie; cookies cannot therefore be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The Adwords customers are informed of the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. They do not, however, receive information that could be used to personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this, e.g. via a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by adjusting your browser to block cookies from the ‘’ domain. You can find Google's privacy policy on conversion tracking here.

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager is a solution we can use to manage website tags via an interface (and therefore, for example, integrate Google Analytics and other Google marketing services into our online offer). The tag manager itself (which implements the tags) does not process the personal data of users. With respect to the processing of personal data of users, we refer to the following information on Google services. Guidelines for use:

Google Optimize

Our website uses the web analysis and optimisation service ‘Google Optimize’, which is provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter ‘Google Optimize’). We use the Google Optimize service to increase the attractiveness, content and functionality of our website by playing new functions and content to a percentage of our users to then statistically evaluate the change in usage. Google Optimize is a sub-service of Google Analytics (see section Google Analytics).

Google Optimize uses cookies to optimise and analyse your use of our website. The information generated by these cookies about your use of our website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We use Google Optimize with IP anonymisation to truncate your IP address beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity and optimisation tests, and to provide other services relating to the respective website activity and Internet usage. The cookies used in connection with Google Optimize are valid for 30 days and are automatically deleted after expiry.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your Internet browser settings accordingly. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of our website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin from the following link: For more information on data collection and processing by Google, please consult the Google privacy policy, which is available at

Google reCaptcha

We use the Google's reCaptcha service to determine whether certain entries in our contact or newsletter forms are made by humans or by computers. Google uses the following data to determine whether you are a human or a computer: IP address of the device used, the web page visited with which Captcha is integrated, date and duration of visit, identification data of the browser and operating system used, Google account if you are logged into Google, mouse movements on the reCaptcha field, and tasks in which you must identify images. The legal basis for the described data processing is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
We have a legitimate interest to ensure the security of our website and to protect ourselves from automated input (attacks) with this data processing.

If you access pages and files of this website and are requested to enter personal data, the online data transfer is encrypted through the use of SSL and protected against unauthorized access.
